Double Stainless Steel Strip

Duplex stainless steel is a steel that combines excellent corrosion resistance, high strength and good welding performance,

and many other excellent properties. It is widely used in papermaking, petrochemical and marine engineering.

The alloy is resistant to chloride environment and sulfide stress corrosion, and its strength is about twice that of standard austenitic stainless steel. When higher mechanical strength/lighter weight is required, the alloy can be successfully used as a substitute for 300 series austenitic stainless steel.
